SCBL Softball and WJL/SCBL Baseball Tournaments in Winfield on Thursday, May 11--Lady Spartans will play for 5th place against #5 South Sumner in the 2nd game. The Spartans will play for 5th place against #5 Sedan in the 2nd game. Game times for the 1st games is 4 pm. Good Luck Spartans!!



Medalists from both MS SCBL and HS track meet at Udall will be posted in the next few days. Thanks to all the athletes and parents who have supported our track kids this season!

Our small but mighty HS track team competed at Udall. Girls 4x800 smashed their record best time from State last season finishing 3rd in the race, and also finished a season best 3rd in the 4x400! The boys had strong finishes in the 4x100 and individual events! Next up SCBL!


Our Middle School Track Team fought hard all year. Extremely proud of all of our athletes. Here are the final team standings for the SCBL meet held at Burden today!



Lady Spartan Softball will play Monday, May 8th in the SCBL Softball Tournament in Sedan. They will play the second game vs. #3 Flinthills. The first game (#2 Sedan vs. #7 Central) will start at 12 pm. Good Luck Lady Spartans!!


Spartan Baseball will play in Oxford on Monday, May 8th in the WJL/SCBL League Baseball Tournament. They will play the second game against Udall. The first game (Oxford vs. South Sumner) will start at 11 am. Good Luck Spartans!

Congratulations to our Spring Spartan Seniors
Madison Hedgecock is the daughter of Brian and Trisha Hedgecock. Madison participates in softball, volleyball and is a part of FFA, Circle of Friends and NHS. Her future plans are to attend Sterling University to attain a bachelors degree in Pre-Physical Therapy while playing softball. Her favorite part
about softball season is when she hit her first out of park homerun and getting to
play with her little sister.
Hayleigh and Taylor Rainbolt are the daughter and son of James and Jessica Rainbolt. Hayleigh Rainbolt has participated in softball and basketball. She is a member of Student Council, National Honors Society, Shop Class, 4-H, and AG. Her future plans are to attend a university to major in pre-medicine. Her favorite part about softball season is getting to see Riley and Gracie every day.
Taylor Rainbolt has participated in football, basketball, and baseball. He is a
member of the Bigs and Littles Program and is currently the STUCO President.
Taylor’s future plans are to get a job with his NDT Degree. His favorite part of
baseball season is getting to spend time with his friends.
Grace Henderson is the daughter of Roy and Jennifer Henderson. Grace participated in Volleyball, Softball, and Dance. She is a member of NHS, FCA, Math Team, Circle of Friends, Yearbook, Scholars Bowl, Band and Choir. Grace is the president of FFA, Principal Leadership Team and Student Council. Her future plans are to attend Cowley College to study Pre-Diagnostic Sonography on a
Arkalalah Miss. Dexter scholarship. Her favorite part of softball season is when she
struck out her first batter while pitching and tormenting Coach Aaron and Coach
Beverly.
