Hailee Dennis is the daughter of Windie Sharer and David Dennis. Hailee has participated in volleyball, softball, track, basketball, cheerleading, STUCO, Math Team, Scholars Bowl Team and Band.
INTERVIEW:
What year did you begin school at CVS?
Hailee: preschool
What are your next steps?
Hailee: To go to Southwestern for Early Childhood Education on a Cheerleading Scholarship
Who is someone special that you would like to give a shoutout to?
Hailee: Diericks Family for always being there for me when I needed it the most and making me feel like a daughter to them.
What is your favorite school memory?
Hailee: My senior trip when Chase and I were arguing about how cucumbers and pickles are not the same thing and everyone else disagreed with me.
What are you most excited for next?
Hailee: I am actually really excited about starting cheer in college
What does success mean to you?
Hailee: Success means to me that you are never giving up, no matter what you try your hardest, never give up.
What advice would you give to those entering high school?
Hailee: Stop worrying about the drama, worry about yourself, don’t get caught up in it as it will reflect on you when you are older.
How strict would you say that your parents were during high school?
Hailee: Um, pretty strict because they’ve always wanted us to not be slackers and to go to college.
Who Was Your Favorite Teacher?
Hailee: I think Mr. Harber because he always makes learning fun, like with grammar he will add jokes and memes, he just tries to make it fun.
What Was Your Favorite Toy Growing Up?
Hailee: Oh, Hatchimals
What is the best advice you’ve gotten?
Hailee: As long as I am trying and giving it my hardest it doesn’t matter, Mrs. Hahner would always tell me that.

Katie: Yes, I have taken several college classes.
What are your next steps?
Katie: I plan to attend Cowley and finish my prerequisites for a radiology program
Who is someone special that you would like to give a shoutout?
Katie: My mom for always pushing me to do my best both in and out of school.
What is your favorite school memory?
Katie: I would say going to Nationals with the FFA
What are you most excited for next?
Katie: Moving on to my next step in life, college.
What does success mean to you?
Katie: When you have a goal and are able to achieve it.
What advice would you give to those entering high school?
Katie: Make sure that you always try your best and don’t slack off.

Spartan JV Baseball win two vs SH/Caldwell




4th and 5th graders learned about and celebrated Cinco de Mayo today. We read about it in ELA, learned about perfect squares and square roots in math (perfect year for it...5-5-25) and finished off the day with chips and queso made by the 5th graders! Happy Cinco de Mayo!







In our prek-1 grades we use a phonemic awareness curriculum called Heggerty. Everyday a student has a chance to be the Heggerty Hero by showing great effort during the lesson. Today, the whole first grade class received the award as they are officially done with the curriculum!!These First Graders have been rocking their phonemic awareness skills since preschool! 2nd Graders participated in the Great Mail Race & we sent off our letters today!
Our 2nd Grade class received a letter from a school in Maine, inviting us to join the race! We wrote them back as well as joined the race. Each of our 2nd graders chose a small town school from a different state and wrote them a letter too, hoping to hear back, and inviting them along for the race!
