2nd graders received their "late" Christmas gifts when we came back from break due to late delivery. They all received a Fahlo bracelet & tracker of a specific animal!
The amount of joy and excitement they had as we read and tracked each of their animals was so awesome! Thank you so much to those who donated to help make this happen! It truly means a lot!

K–3 students are beginning their conducting lessons! Today, second and third graders drew connections between coaches and conductors, recognizing how both lead teams toward a common goal. They also discussed how musicians must work together as a team to be successful. Students then put their skills into practice by using batons to conduct patterns in one beat, two beats, three beats, and four beats. 4-5 students learned about strong and week beats and how to identify meter (groupings of notes in a measure). All skills necessary to be successful as they transition to middle school band!

As many know, Mrs. Shockley's passion is reading! She loves sharing that passion with her students and what better way to do that than to gift them all a book (with a stuffie & blanket) to start their break! However, this wouldn't have been possible without the support and donations from family & community members. So Big Thank You to them!! The excitement and joy these kids had was amazing!! ❤️ 📚 #readersareleaders
