
1st grade has been learning about how taxes pay for community needs, like water, schools, police and etc. 1st graders town.

Thanksgiving Feast today, those signed up with K-5 students please arrive at the elementary at 11:10 am. Bring exact amount $4.40 and room for pie!

*Holiday Food Drive - now accepting non-perishable food times. Donations may be dropped off at the school or city hall. Donations due by December 14th.
*Holiday Food Basket applications are being sent home with students. You may also pick up an application in the elementary or high school office. Applications are due to the City of Cedar Vale by November 30th.



Our school food service staff is busy preparing for our annual Thanksgiving lunch. We are thankful for all their hard work and dedication that goes into this laborious task. We look forward to seeing our family and friends this Thursday.

It's been a busy couple of weeks but 4th grade was finally able to get back in the Pre-K classroom to practice our reading skills by reading some of our favorites!






We mashed painting interest groups today. We did raised salt painting! They had fun and only got a little messy!




The freshman investigated Newton's law by manipulating the mass of their balloon rockets. They only popped one! 🎈

First HS math contest in the books and we came home with some hardware.

CVHS Scholars Bowl tied for first place in Pool A and went into finals, completed in 3rd place in tie breaker! Aiden Campbell with the math question for the win! Great work team and sponsor, Mr Fox!
