Chautauqua County Spelling Bee was held at Cedar Vale Schools. Runner-up is Wyatt Duncan Cedar Vale 8th grade and Champion is Aubrey Lampson, 6th grade Sedan. It was a hard fought competition and all of the students did very well. Thank you to Ms Julie Tracy for organizing and facilitating the event as well as the judges and announcer!
6th grade students in Mrs. Ross's class recently completed a formal paper reviewing the class novel. They have now moved on to presenting their paper to their peers. We have a class with strong public speaking skills!

MS math team came home with some medals tonight from the competition in Caldwell. Taylor Ferguson, Hattie Everett and Ellie McClure got 2nd place in the 6th grade team test and Taylor Ferguson got 2nd in Graphing 6. Many others placed in the top 10 of their event.

NOTICE Cedar Vale Jr-Sr Prom is scheduled for April 20, 2024. There has been a longstanding tradition of students' parents and community members hosting an After-Prom for the attending students, however with deep sadness, this year there is no longer a committee or team to host and continue this wonderful tradition for our 2024 Prom students.
