Our elementary VEX robotics interest group tested out our super cars and then tried to see if modifications students made would make the cars go farther.

Faith’s activities include Scholars Bowl, hanging out with Malei 24/7, Sleeping, making Tik Toks, and she is the current Miss Cedar Vale. Faith’s favorite memory is going dress shopping for Snowball with Kayden. Faith plans to attend Cowley and transfer to WSU to major in Psychology.
SENIOR NIGHT--Friday, October 22 at 6:30. Donald McKenzie is the son of Robert and Brenda McKenzie. Donald enjoys helping his Mom and Dad feed cattle. Donald’s favorite memory is the first day of school. After high school, Donald plans to continue to help his Mom and Dad take care of cattle.

Rae’s activities include Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Bigs and Littles, Yearbook, and she is the current Stuco President. Rae’s favorite memory is Backroading with Logan, Georgia, and Denali. Rae plans to attend Hutchinson Community College to study Physical Therapy.
SENIOR NIGHT--Friday, October 22 at 6:30. Jarvis Haden is the son of Joel Harris Haden and Kelle Ireland Haden. Jarvis is a member of Cedar Vale’s Scholars Bowl team. Jarivs’s favorite memory is being able to do school at home during Covid. Jarvis intends to continue his education at an undetermined university and earn a bachelor’s degree in an undetermined field.
SENIOR NIGHT--Friday, October 22 at 6:30. Emalee Jean Haden is the daughter of Miqueline Haden, and Joel and Trishadee Haden. Emalee’s activities include Stuco, Bigs and Littles, Cheer, Scholars Bowl, Fishing, and Driving Around. Emalee’s favorite memory is scoring a fourteen point buck while hunting on the ranch with her Dad. Emalee plans to attend Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to pursue midwifery.

As the fourth grade learned about the regions of the United States they also visited several national parks virtually and completed the junior ranger programs! Today they received their junior ranger badges from De Soto National Memorial!
Kindergarten continued their pumpkin investigation today with a Pumpkin Skittles Experiment and a Pumpkin Volcano!!

Flu shot permission forms will be sent home today. If you want your student to be administered the flu vaccination, please return permission form by October 28th. Shots will be administered on November 3rd.
Kindergarten Investigating Pumpkins🎃
One of the great benefits of music education is learning about world culture! In the first unit students learned to sing hello and goodbye in Spanish. This unit they are learning the Zulu words for hello and goodbye as well as “The Mexican Hat Dance”!

We were Hungry, Hungry Hippos during middle school p.e. today & we had so much fun! Shoutout to Coach Wachter and the football boys for joining us! They definitely upped the intensity with their competitive and joyous spirit!
