We are fast approaching the end of our first semester and holiday break. Elementary tutoring concludes Wednesday, December 14th and will resume on January 9th. Monday, December 19 at 6:30 pm is our wonderful Christmas program. The Cedar Vale Chamber is hosting Santa visits at 5:15pm in our commons area. Elementary students are to report to their classroom teacher in the gym at 6:15pm and will remain seated with their class for the program. Santa will be ready after the program for a few more visits. Our traditional Polar Express and pajama day will be held on Tuesday, December 20th. Students may bring a small stuffy / blanket. Classes will conclude the day with classroom Christmas parties as schedule with your homeroom teacher. Dismissal is 3:47pm. We will resume classes on Wednesday, January 4th. Elementary second quarter and first semester awards are schedule Thursday, January 5 at 8:15am in the gym. Our local Spelling Bee is schedule for January 11th and Chautauqua County Spelling Bee is at Sedan this year on February 8, at 1:00PM. Cedar Vale Elementary wishes you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
