2nd Graders are now officially published authors! We submitted our class book called, A Dive Into the Ocean, through Studentreasures Publishing and we received our official books back today! They did a great job on their pages and should be very proud of themselves!

First Grade finished their Animals in Winter Projects!!
4th Grade celebrated pi day by eating pie and memorizing as many decimals in pi as possible! Laurynn won by memorizing pi to 43 decimals!

Just a reminder that class group pictures and spring individual pictures are tomorrow. Group pictures payment must be included in the provided envelopes. Individual pictures will be paid after viewing the pictures. Dress nice and bring your smiles.

Kindergarten finished their Animals in Winter Project. Each group picked an animal and researched how it survives in the winter. Then, they created a winter scene complete with a clay model of their animal.
2nd Graders got to finish the movie The Wizard of Oz today - Their special snacks were; Cheetos (lions tail), chocolate kisses (tin mans hat/oil can), and rice crispy treats (in the formation of the Yellow Brick Road).
Congratulations to the Cedar Vale Middle School Band Soloists. They each received a rating of I. The hard work paid off.
We finished our individual paintings and our two group murals (all elementary students contributed fingerprints to the group murals). Trying out dot art today!

The 2nd graders finished reading The Wizard of Oz, so we’re now watching the movie and having treats to go along with the theme.
Today they’re having bugles - (I asked them what they think they represented, and they named a few things: witch’s hat, scarecrow’s hat, or the witches fingernails!)
They also got rainbow airheads bites - (Somewhere Over the Rainbow) 🌈
